St Ives is truly the complete destination for those seeking an entertaining holiday or a relaxing break. The art colony of St Ives is well known and is celebrated in the incredible diversity of art and art related products available in the town's galleries and gift shops. The surf community has carved out its own vibrant corner in the town, adding a zest and style that visitors can take back with them in the clothes and accessories on sale as well as the invigorating memories of surfing itself. But it is not only products that make a holiday; more than anything else it is 'did we have a great time?' In St Ives it is easier to have that great time with many pubs and clubs offering live entertainment and with more live theatre than could be found in many towns twice the size. Culminating in the St Ives September Festival, the list of shows, plays and performances is extensive from Oklahoma to Georgie Fame, from Opera to Blues and here on the st-ives.uk.com website, we aim to make it easier for visitors planning the entertainment in their holiday to make the evenings as memorable as the days are relaxing.
